Staying in this hotel was a pleasant surprise as we booked last minute and enjoyed a lovely view of the city from our room. However, the room did not have the double bed we had reserved, which was a bit disappointing. The service was decent with room service available, but the location was not the most convenient for the airport, requiring a $50 taxi ride. Despite the odd area surrounding the hotel, the staff was friendly and the hotel was brand new with free parking available. Dining was a mixed experience with some fabulous aspects but also extremely expensive options. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay for our needs.

The strong selling points were the friendly, happy staff, the brand new hotel feel, and the free parking. The location was right for our visit to Melbourne, especially to see loved ones at Epping Private Hospital. The dining experience was excellent, especially the homemade desserts.
